BREATHING :
1. Different animals have different breathing
structures.
2. The breathing structures that animals use are
:
● lungs
● trachea
structure ( breathing holes )
● gills
3. Animals that live on land usually use their lungs to breathe.
4. Insects that live on land usually use trachea to breathe.
5. Animals that live in water usually use their gills to breathe.
6. Some animals such as the frog and earthworm, breathe through moist skin.
7. Although animals have different breathing structures, the breathing process remains similar.
8. An animal inhales to take in oxygen.
9. An animal exhales to remove carbon dioxide and water vapour.
